A Rat's Tail Rattery

Hi, I'm Belinda – the founder of A Rat’s Tail, originally started in 2019 under Scruffians Rattery. My first litter arrived in September 2020 from Brie and Nicodemus, and while I continue to breed today, it's on a smaller scale as I rebuild my lines. In June 2021, I launched the A Rat’s Tail store after adopters showed interest in the food and enrichment items I created. What started with rats has now grown to include a wide range of products for exotic pets, driven by both demand and my passion for creativity. I currently work as the assistant practice manager at Pet Doctors St Lukes and am studying for my Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. Through A Rat’s Tail, my goal is to provide education and support for both new and experienced owners across New Zealand, covering everything from ethical breeding and husbandry to enrichment and genetics.
