Future Planned Litters

Our litters all have certain goals (such as markings, temperaments, health and outcrosses), and therefore we plan our litters about six months ahead of time. Girls are only paired a maximum of two times between the ages of 6 - 12 months, and boys need to be over the age of 18 months (but not too old that they can't get the deed done!

It's important to remember that we are breeding goal orientated (ie quality over quantity). We aren't trying to push out as many rats as we can for pets as we have other goals first! Pets are just a bi-product as we cannot keep them all.

Keeping that in mind, please note that pairings sometimes fail, get delayed, and plans end up changing. Please don't plan to get certain litters from us (as we may cut lines or choose not to breed due to health problems that may have popped up). You can, however, keep an eye on our Facebook page to see if those pairings do go ahead and whether mum successfully gives birth.

We Are Restarting Our Lines!

You may have noticed that we have been taking a short break to think about the future of us breeding, while dealing with our own health issues. A large number of our lines ended up being cut (all but one actually!), so we are waiting for a proper restart with brand-new, well established genetics to have the best of the best rats. We have decided to lessen the amount of litters and lines we are working on while recovering physically and studying veterinary nursing as well. We always recommend signing up to our waitlist early to be in line for when our babies are ready to adopt!

Current Plans

(As of March 2025)

Fluffy Clouds

Whiskey Tails Jinx

Black Berkshire (Carrier)

Approx DOB:

June 2025

Jinx really lives up to her name and is an absolute personality. Oddysey is one of the sweetest boys I've ever had an regularly comes into clinic with me to meet the public. This will be our first official outcross to some amazing genes from the original fluffs that have not been in any of my previous lines - Avoiding health issues!

Expected Outcome:

Hoods and berkshires. There may be some carriers in this litter, but we are really hoping for just happy and healthy rats

Whiskey Tails Violet

Black Berkshire (Carrier)

Approx DOB:

September 2025

Violet is the opposite of her sister - A lot more calm and cuddly. Winnie is one of the healthiest boys I've ever had, from an unknown breeding history. Besides Jinx's litter, this will be brand new genes into our rattery from both sides.

Expected Outcome:

Black based hoods and berkshires. There may be some carriers in this litter, but we are really hoping for just happy and healthy rats
